SUCRUNION

Founded in 2006, SUCRUNION is a subsidiary of the COSUMAR Group that specializes in sugar packaging, aiming to create significant momentum in the market by capturing all profitable segments and anticipating market evolution.

SUCRUNION mission is to establish a sugar packaging operation that enables us to:

  • Develop a new range of refined and targeted high-value-added products that perfectly cater to the diverse and evolving tastes of consumers.
  • Penetrate new market segments.

With a strategy centered on innovation and R&D, SUCRUNION is primarily focused on customer satisfaction by offering high-quality, diverse products that align with changing consumer habits.

Today, SUCRUNION employs 60 people and markets its products under five brands (SUKARI, SUCRE D’OR, SUCREVIA, SUCRE LIGHT, and TAGATESSE) both locally and internationally, particularly in the European and North American markets.

WILMACO

Wilmaco, located in Casablanca, Roches Noires, on a 2.5-hectare site, was established to produce and market vegetable oils and specialty fats in the Moroccan and regional markets. It caters to the needs of the food industry by offering a wide range of products, including:

  • Fats
  • Specialty fat
  • Margarine

COSUMAGRI

COSUMAGRI is an agricultural operation company and a subsidiary of COSUMAR. It manages two estates: one in Sidi Slimane, covering 386 hectares, and the other in Dar Gueddari, covering 109 hectares.

COSUMAGRI provides a variety of crops, including rotational crops, and produces sugarcane and sugar beet for the region’s sugar factories. COSUMAGRI also produces certified cane and beet cuttings to meet the needs of farmers in the Gharb and Loukous regions for high-quality cuttings.

Additionally, COSUMAGRI plays a significant role in technology transfer to farmers, including irrigation management, drip irrigation equipment, buried drip systems, fertilization, and production techniques. It also serves as a laboratory for testing the varietal performance of different cane and beet varieties.

GREEN TECH

GREEN TECH is a subsidiary of the COSUMAR Group, created in 2017. It specializes in the purchasing, selling, importing, exporting, packaging, marketing, and distribution of:

  • Seeds;
  • Mineral and organic fertilizers;
  • Phytosanitary products;
  • Livestock feed;
  • Raw or processed agricultural products;
  • Agricultural work and services for farmers.

In 2021, GREEN TECH began producing customized fertilizers for sugar crops through the “Smart Blender” technology. This technology was extended to all sugar crops in Morocco starting in 2022, allowing farmers to optimize production costs and improve the performance of sugar crops.

Since 2022, GREEN TECH has been working on promoting precision agriculture in the sugar crop sector by using drones to identify and treat weeds, diseases, and pests affecting sugar beet and sugarcane. Additionally, satellite imagery is used to monitor crop development and manage irrigation techniques.
